Tensaw Wilderness School DBA Alabama Outward Bound School

We serve people of all ages and backgrounds through active learning expeditions that inspire character development, self-discovery and service both in and out of the classroom. Outward Bound delivers programs using unfamiliar settings as a way for participants to experience adventure and challenge in a way that helps students realize they can do more than they thought possible.

We specialize in offering character development education to teens 13 to 18 exhibiting the early warning signs of school drop out, delinquency or experimentation with drugs and alcohol. Our mission is to inspire at-risk and committed delinquent youth to remain crime free and stay in school to reach their full potential in education, community, career and life, through attaining academic achievement, character development and social responsibility.

Customized courses provide curricula developed for struggling teens, groups with specific health, social or educational needs, business and professional organizations and faith based communities.
