Friends, Inc. offers caring volunteer services in Huntsville and Madison County to support patients and their families and to help them cope with these new situations and issues. Volunteer support services are provided by one person to another in the hone, hospital, or nursing home.

Friends, Inc. patient care volunteers provide support services such as:

• Transportation to medical and cancer treatment appointments
• Respite care for caregivers
• Errand assistance- grocery shopping, prescription pick-up, etc.
• Emotional support through friendly visits and phone calls
• Medical lending closet
• Access to community resources and spiritual support as needed.
