Helping Children Who Witness Domestic Violence

As a young child I was a witness to Domestic Violence in the home and those are images that stuck with me well into college. I was silent in my confusion and often times felt alone in my experience. I decided to seek a therapist while in college and that was the best choice I've ever made.

Healthy relationships are important for young children to see and when those images aren't displayed it paves the way for destructive behaviors to be instilled in the individual.

Therefore, with this fundraiser, I pray that minds are renewed, stolen innocence is given back, forgiveness can expressed, and that hearts are mended.
