If I can raise at least $1,000 for the GBHS, then I will run the last 6 miles of my first-ever marathon on February 13th IN MY BIKINI!

I started The Jen West Quest back in March of 2010 as an accountability tool to lose weight. I posted a photo of myself in a bikini each week to show the changes in my body. Now that I have reached my goal weight of 145, I am putting on a bikini for a new purpose... to raise money for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. If I can raise at least $1,000, then on February 13th I will run the last 6 miles of my first-ever marathon in my bikini! :D

The Greater Birmingham Humane Society, founded in 1883, is the largest and oldest humane society in Alabama. Over the course of our history we have witnessed the changes in our community and yet have never left the original mission of Dr. Phillips "to promote respect for life through education and prevention of cruelty to animals and people".
