Mobile SPCA is a no-kill humane society providing compassionate care, shelter, food and medical attention to companion animals.

The Mobile SPCA offers a wide variety of programs and services that impact the lives of thousands of people and pets in our community. Even those who think they know what we do might be surprised at the scope of our work.

  • Pet Adoptions and Adoption Center
  • Spay and Neuter Initiatives
  • Neglect and Cruelty Investigation and Assistance
  • Disaster Preparedness
  • Pet Food Pantry
  • Adoption Counseling
  • Second Chance Resale Shop
  • Fund Raising Projects
  • Nursing Home Visitations
  • Placement, Lost and Found Assistance
  • Humane Education

These are just a few of the ways the Mobile SPCA is making a difference in our community and for the animals we care for. Together we will be here today, tomorrow, and in the future, looking ahead and leading the way to a better community for our animals and the people whose lives are enriched by them.

The Mobile SPCA receives no local, state, or federal money to operate. We are not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from national organizations such as ASPCA, HSUS or American Humane. Donations, grants, memorials, planned giving donations and fund-raising efforts are our sole sources of income. Without the generous members of our community like you, we would not be able to offer the homeless animals another chance to be loved!

Donate Today! Your donation demonstrates your commitment to homeless animals in Alabama.

This is Zelda, she was taken in the hoarder... This is Zelda, she was taken in the hoarder bust in Wilmer. She is one of two puppies so weak she could barely stand. We fed her Coke from a straw and the sugar saved her life! Look at her now. She is living the good life. We could not have saved her and the 39 other dogs without your help. Look into that sweet trusting face and tell me your donation - no matter how large or how small will not make a difference!

This is the face of Maggie, a little puppy who... This is the face of Maggie, a little puppy who came to the Mobile SPCA a year ago after being abandoned at the park. Through donation dollars we were able to care and feed her, get her shots and spayed. She is now a year old living a great life with her adoptive family. This would not have been possible without our donors to made it possible for us to take her in and care for her.

I know many of you ask "how can I help when I don't have time to volunteer" or you might say "it is too sad for me to see these homeless animals." Well, this is your chance to really make a difference-! Donate to the Mobile SPCA. Every dollar you donate goes right back to saving a homess dog or cat from having to go to a high kill animal shelter or it helps us to rescue animals from the animal shelter. Funds are desperately needed to feed, care and house these guys and get them to the vet for their shots and spayed and neutered. Can you help by donating? You CAN make a difference!
