The mission of the WBCNA is to help women and men start or grow a business and generate economic growth for the region.

The WBCNA was started as a grass roots movement to support women who had dreams of entrepreneurship but little or no support to fulfill those dreams. Since those early days we have expanded our services to include Veterans, persons and small businesses seeking to do business with the Government, and yes - men. We never dreamed men would even want to come to a women's business center, but outstanding, credible, and reliable support is hard to find, no matter what your gender or background.

In 2006 the WBCNA was awarded a grant from the Small Business Administration and we continue to be proud SBA Resource Partners. The SBA grant provides us the opportunity to measure our results and report to our stakeholders the impact of what we have helped our clients accomplish over the years and it is phenomenal!

CUMMULATIVE ECONOMIC IMPACT DATA OF OUR CLIENTS

FY2007 – FY2011

  • JOBSCREATED - 943
  • BUSINESSES CREATED - 316
  • GROSS RECEIPTS - $67.1MIL

Small business is the backbone of our country and our economy and we plan to be around for many years supporting anyone and everyone with an enterpreneurial spirit and a dream.
